Brad St Jean

Brad St. Jeans musical roots are deep and so his becoming a musician was as natural as breathing. He learned to play the drums at the age of ten and by the age of eleven he was performing on stage with his cousin Pat Mclaughlin. From the beginning, Brad admired great songwriting and especially the songs of storytellers and knew that he wanted to follow in their footsteps. His goal was to create what he calls three-minute movies for the mind, reminiscent of the country songs that had inspired him. Brads original hard-hitting songs tell the stories of the places hes been, the people hes met and the situations hes encountered along the way.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Proud to be a red neck Gatineau Hillbilly, Brad grew up in Low Que. Playing covers and originals in various different bands like The Connection, Springwater, BCR, Quest, Sahara Jade, Kuzzin, Kage, Spillback, Raven and Kinaxxa Cross. Brad has been playing in public since the age of eleven.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I have been playing live for years. I still love the rush when I can jam a dance floor and have everyone cut loose.
