Borderland Bandit
Bandit is still a team player, confident, intellectual, and leading performance brings the best out of not only himself, but to bring up many talented individuals learning where to start in the music scene. Still learning a long the way, Bandit will do whatever it takes to make sure El Paso, Texas rises with him. No matter the risks involved.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Keep in mind, Borderland Bandit has never been as lucky as most in the El Paso scene. Most EPTX talent comes from a wide range favoritism, or close relationships with someone involved in the night life scene. The chuco town boss doesn't work with no one. With very little help from close peers, no uncles, cousins, or even a father to help invest, craft or support to get him going. Borderland Bandit has achieved so much since 2008. From starting off on Numark Mixtracks, to becoming an independent player of his own. 2014 was a bright reminder that Bandit, can be his own photographer, digital art designer, beat maker, sampler, music producer, sound engineer, bass head, DJ, video editor, song writer, public director, freestylist, & soon to be recording artist.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Borderland Bandit has performed in various grand openings, smoke shops, warehouses, shut down venues, and much more since 2012. Borderland Bandit has came a long way in the nightlife scene for the Sun City. From DJing house parties with local jockies to studio sessions with local talent in the borderland area.
