Boboye Reuben Olisawo, known professionally as Boboye, is a Nigerian -UK based singer, songwriter and Pastor at The Redeemed Christian Church of God, True Worshippers' Assembly-Swindon.UK. Boboye have served as a useful source to those seeking inspiration.
The new album "Hallelujah" couldn't come at a better time as this, a time of uncertainty all over the world. Boboye was inspired to release this album and right from the very day in the studio, this beguiling simple tune offers a sound that
instantly transport those that listen to it to another word.
The last I will see myself doing at this time is singing because the last time I actively sang as a chorister was over 20 years ago but there was this particular night at work, I
was meditating and I began to worship between the hour
of 01:00 am and 4:00am, I began to sign different songs that I never heard before and I began to write them down. In total, I got 9 songs between that hours. I quickly typed them out but saved it in a different file in the computer.
The following day, I resumed for work but my colleagues was very curious about what I did with the songs I typed out yesterday. I said oh! I just typed it out but I couldn't even able to locate the file I saved it but with their support we were able to retrieved it back and quickly sent it to my email. My colleagues encouraged me not to just put it aside, that they like the lyrics. I should try and do something about it but I told that i haven't been singing so there nothing i think i can do about it.
The Third day, one of the producers name came to mind and I sent it to him, he asked what am going to do with it, I just explained to him and said I dont know, its been long I have sang. He said I love the songs can you come we see what we
can do. With the help of God and his support, the rest is story today.
As today, this song as hits over 5,300 viewers in three weeks on you YouTube and its growing, several media stations are already playing it
