"Ive been singing since the age of 5."My Mother was a "Great Singer" and My Father was a "Master Musician(Harmonica Player/Percussionist)"&Minister"...Basically,I am a Self-taught "Alternative/Smooth Jazz/Pop/R&B/Gospel Guitarist/Vocalist/Producer/Writer.
"Two of My Sons "Robby&"Timmy Payton are also Musicians&Writers.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
"I started singing in Church around age 5...My Dad inspired me to play.He was a "Great"Harmonica Player/Soloist.He was/is my Greatest Inspiration My Mother was also a "Great Singer"She would sometimes "sing me to sleep at night" I started playing Guitar around age 10.Joined a Band around age 16..Hit the Road around age 17..Got into Jazz around age 26....Still playing&singing..I Love "Good Music"in every genre.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
"I really enjoy travelling & playing the Ski Resorts in Vail & Aspen Colorado.
