Hi! I'm Bobby McGee a singer/songwriter from western North Carolina. I started a prison ministry 24 years ago and as "Christsong", my wife and I, travel to prisons all over the country playing and singing. We also play at churches to support the ministry.
I have been a songwriter for 46 years and have released 4 CDs of original music that tell my story.
Band/artist history
I was incarcerated for 22 years. Because of that I can go into the prisons and share with the men and women in a way few can. God uses my past to reach some of the unreachable. He uses the music to soften the hearts and open their ears.
I write most everything we sing, I sing lead and my wife sings harmonies.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
We play a lot and very much enjoy it. Our most memorable moments come from being on the road and meeting God's people.
Your musical influences
I love acoustic guitar and have been playing for many years. CSNY, Eagles, and Selah are some of my favorites.
