Hello. Thanks for visiting. I started writing songs when I was in high school... maybe even earlier than that. While I had some songwriting success many years back, life took me in a different direction. Since the early 80s I have been making a living as a business consultant and writing pretty much for my own enjoyment. I've always loved songwriting. I have notebooks filled with lyrics and drawers filled with notebooks. After all these years I've made the decision to make songwriting my priority. Several visits to Nashville and my songwriting is now my full-time passion.Your musical influences

His music has touched my heart, my soul and my life. Actually, Paul's lyrics have done more than influence my songwriting, they've been with me through all of my life experiences.
Leonard Cohen
I write a lyric. Then I read one of his poems or listen to one of his songs and think to myself... "Bill, I think you need to dig a little deeper".
