ben - sorry i never listened to this song before. with a few more instruments to round out your song, and a line that ends with 'them' to ryhme and make good sense (i'll scout out the exact area if you want) this could be a really persuasive demo - if done right - you could sell yourself to a record company on just this song as that seems to be your goal right now. i don't have any contacts anymore, but i do know how to package a song for a specific artist - and this one is hot! you could release it as is, but you need a bigger sound for it - even being a sweet acoustic ballad. there are lots of country stars who would want this under their sleeve. it would slay at a concert. maybe you are that country artist! ben c. songwriter - you have the hit, this is it, now you gotta get it in the ears of a star.
