Baskyl is a sound-bender, a music project, a sonic appproach, an experiment. Working on computer in cyberspace, the persona around Baskyl doesn't really matter. Age? Gender? Nationality?...who cares?
All tracks are produced at home in the quiet hours between 11pm and 1am. (Sometimes it's much later than that...) Interesting how things change, start to move, take a different focus, get a vibrant flow. The result is never calculated - and always surprising (at least I am astounded, everytime).
So take joy and relaxation in listening to my tunes.
Drop me a line, if you like them. I'd be glad! :)Have you performed in front of an audience? No.
But I'd like to rent the Galaxy Stadium on Titan to perform my next big B*Day!
Then I will invite all my friends and we will party all weekend thru.

Wolfgang didn´t even know the genre ELECTRIC BLUES but I found out it .....fits.
Great vibe, tones, evolving synths on a rock solid foundation.
I love it! Outstanding work and a 10000000$ -sound for sure!
Cheerio
Wow, very impressive use of sounds, and little licks. It is different, but in a good way.
This one WOW´s me from second one on.
A soprano sax and synths, YES that is special?
Please tell me: How long did it take do play, arrange, mix and master this. Months or years? I´m serious, this is highest end in terms of sounds.
I could listen to this for at least an hour!
Congrats, an eclectic collection of sounds that really fit together, gereat fitler and distortion experiments here, mellow backing that always stays in focus.
Perfect, a clear ********** (if there was something like that)
Cheers
Andreas
Wild shredded synths. Funny fast notes, tough guitars and drums, fun vocal snippets.
This is a early summer piece I?d say. Very danceable I guess.
Pretty wild things going on here leading from one section to the next.
Pretty cool arrangement, maybe (to my VINTAGE taste). Maybe a little LESS would have been MORE.
Cheers

Wolfgang. You write:
"I did this track Tuesday night, after Sr. Abreu received his well-earned award in Frankfurt.
I tried to capture the moving and happy spirit of his work in my track."
Yes, met him here in Frankfurt, too, at the Press conference. AMAZING person!
So this is what music can do, too!
I hear a lot of south american spirit in your new tune.
Cool vibe here, carried by the bass. Heavy load of synths here.
Cinemascope I´d say!
Evolving sounds here!
I am not sure, though, if I like the "C´mon C´mon baby" thing....
Makes in DANCEABLE in a way, but to me it simply doesn´t carry the spirit that´s inside the track without the vocals.
The ending is harsh......AND GOOD....and APPROPRIATE, I mean when you, in comparison, look at the load of music that ends in a long fade out....
Very good work, greatly mixed and mastered!
Cheers
Andreas
