BasketCase Music is a brand new Production and songwriting company founded by Benny Rome (credits include Gunplay, Rich Boy, Ya Boy, Taylor J ( known for his single "No Good" Feat. Gucci Mane and Dose) Dose (known most recently for his single featuring Future "Anything You Want") as well many other artists signed to the famed Atlanta indie Label "Big Play Ent." (also responsible for the hit single "Racks" by YC feat. Future), he also has produced songs for various VH1 shows such as "100 most shocking moments in Hip Hop" and many others. As a member of Drum Majors ATL from 2008-2011 Benny also co-produced songs for Yung LA, 112, Juelz Santana's Skull Gang, Chopper City, Shawty Lo and K. Camp (featured on the hit single "Do it" by Mykko Montana.) he and the team's goal is to specialize in CUSTOM production as well as custom song concepts (choruses, cadence ideas, and even complete production and songwriting.) these services are offered along with any exclusive beat purchased and many leases but the customer certainly has the option of not using anything but the beat if they would like. The team simply just wants to assist the artist in the creative process as much as they want. BasketCase's business goal is to cater to both the indie artist with next to no budget all the way up major label artists. What equipment do you use?
Logic Pro 9.0 as a DAW and Audacity for chopping samples on Mac; Acid Pro 7.0, Presonus Studio One 2.5, Reason 4.0, Waves Plug Ins, WaveLab 7, and of course a variety of VSTs; Nexus 2, Gladiator, FireBird, Proteus XV, Vanguard, and the list goes on and on. Depends on the beat, mood, and who is in the studio that day.
