Pretty much the 90s, A Tribe Called Quest, De La Soul, Alkaholiks, Black Sheep, Ice T, Ice Cube, Cypress Hill, Funk Doobiest, Black Moon, Wu Tang Clan, Onyx, Guru aka Gangstar, 2 Pac, Notorious B.I.G., Das Efx, Nas, Fu Shnickens, Scarface, DMX, Mobb Deep just to name a few off the top of my head. I bought physical copies of their albums memorizing ever bar front to back and went to many of their concerts and was deeply inspired to get on their creative level.. to this day that is what I strive for.What equipment do you use?
Akai MPC Live, Presonus Studio One, dbx 160 compressor and a rack of dusty anolog gear.Anything else?
