BIZ(US)
No-nonsense and deep, BIZ consistently delivers music apart from the mainstream lollipop rap. Expression and reality are what drives BIZ's music, but it still has a hardcore element about it. Raw and untouched by the commercial industry, listeners are presented with music that they can relate to on a personal level.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
BIZ started off like many other rappers - by free styling at parties and in ciphers around his local area. He started rhyming on beats when he was 14. Making tapes on a karaoke machine and giving them to his friends. Mostly playing around, until he started noticing others were rhyming his lyrics. He began to get serious, and with the help of friends Larry and Jay, he got a computer and a cheap pc mic. They formed a group called Anonymous Assassinz. Together, the three made numerous songs about life and the things they had to deal with. The songs soon became well known, locally, as something different and always hitting close to home. While the others went off to peruse other things, BIZ remained; always struggling to get a bigger name. Making connections and learning about the game, BIZ became his own producer and manager. Making beats, designing his own media, and even recording all on his own, has made him a Jack-of-all-trades in Hip Hop. He eventually built a small studio in his apartment and even began producing songs for other local artists, such as rappers T.K. , Sha, and even singers like Alamo and Erin.
