History Year 2003 to 2007, Divyd Ray plays guitar before on a Manila Based Metalcore band named Traces of War. When band members graduated college and started to have thier own jobs, the band got inactive and seldom play gigs in the local underground scene. For about four years, They played at gigs together with local Metal bands such as Bloodshedd, Pentavia, Ressurected, Blasphemous Cremation, Hamplaslupa, Paganfire, Barrabas, Oremus, Sacreligion, etc. Forming the Band At this particular point in time, He tried to form a Thrash Metal side project. It was named Violent Breed, then Manifesto, then Bersikulo. He's having a hard time naming the band due to some reasons. He invited Kiel Tare, and and Sherwin Quidem to join the band, they're from an Antipolo based Metalcore band Stygian Fury. Then he invited Bryan Bustamante, his bandmate in thier christian organzation (YFC) to play bass. The band started and focused on creating compositions than doing covers. All of them are influenced by heavy metal music. Divyd, Kiel and Sherwin are influnced by Thrash, Death, Power Metal and Metalcore while Bryan is more on Traditional Heavy Metal. Later on, Jerome, their original bassist volunteered to be a regular bassist for the band. Style of Music Their music is composed of Thrash Metal riffs similar to Exodus, Testament and Metallica riffs in thier old 80's record. Sounds like a bit of Bay Area Thrash Metal. Common thrash metal vocals, Drumming sounds like a blend of thrash metal, Metalcore / Hardcore and NWAHM (New Wave of American Heavy Metal). Bass guitar complements with the guitar riffs. Guitar solos are similar to 80's thrash metal guitar solos. Thier sound is more groovy and catchy than other Thrash Metal records. Lyrical content can be violence, war, poverty, death, Christianity etc. Moving Forward The band just started 2007, quite new and fresh from the grave, Fueled with agression to bring back the 80's Thrash with groove of 90's Metal to the scene. The band recorded thier first single "Casualties Listed", 4:41 mins, Digital Track Recording, Recorded at Audiomax Recording studio at Antipolo CIty with the help of Kuya Cos, thier friend.. The band just spent P580 for the recording of the track.
