Im a musician from Atlanta, GA, currently residing in Champaign-Urbana, IL. I rap and produce, but also sing and play various instruments...so while I would say rap/hip-hip is the most accurate genre to put me in, I dont think I exactly fit neatly within any genre boundaries.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I used to rap here on SoundClick as 2xplicit and produce as Phoenix Down Productions. That was quite a while ago lol. Since then I stopped doing music, lived life, and had quite the experiences on the trail from Atlanta to Champaign-Urbana. Drug addiction, heartbreaks, prison time, near-death experiences...Ill tell you all about it in a song one day.
Your musical influences
Influences vary wildly from Eminem, Dr. Dre, Timbaland, and Lloyd Banks to Lorde and Billie Eilish to The Killers, The Wallflowers, My Chemical Romance, and Silversun Pickups.
What equipment do you use?
Very basic but highly functional...Tascam US 2x2 with Marshall MXL 990, laptop, Mixcraft 9, and FL Studio 20 atm.
Anything else?
The debut EP, Dysphoria, will be out Jan/Feb 2020 on all major streaming services.
Also The Unauthorized EP will be on SoundClick and SoundCloud shortly thereafter.
Debut album, Never Die Easy, also in progress.
Look out for my musical partner Syntax and our duo Atypikal to release projects in the near(ish) future as well.
