My name is Eric Mufazalov (also known as A B R A) and I am from Russia. I am a jazz pianist by education, but I have also been fond of writing music in various DAWs for a very long time.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I learned to play the piano from the age of five. I started my journey with acquaintance with jazz music. Then he entered to study professionally. The first program I ran into seriously was Hip-hop Ejay 5. Then there was Fruitty Loops and Propellerhead Reason. Then I bought my first MacBook Pro and started working in Logic Pro X. To this day, I write music in different genres. My favorite genres of music to write are Hip-hop and EDM. Now I want to try selling my beats.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I had a great practice of performing with musical groups in different musical genres. Therefore, the experience of performances is. But only as a pianist or keyboard player
Your musical influences
I really love the work of Noisia, Evil Needle, Hiatus Kaiyote, Anomalie, many jazz musicians and different musical genres. Almost every genre has its own inspirations.
What equipment do you use?
I use a MacBook Pro 15 2015, midi keyboard, Clavia Nord Electro 6D, KRK Rokit 5 to write my music. I also go to the recording studio to finish my material there.
Anything else?
I hope that someday my name will become known at least a little and I will be able to surprise someone with my music!
