Born and raised in Boston Massachusetts a product of Roxbury and Mattapan, I was given the name Ammo for my ability to strike verbally and physically. I was always drawn towards music and the composition of it, I remember stealing my mothers and fathers CD’s and playing them for hours. Music was always just more than sound to me, it was emotion, passion it was life in melody! I was inspired mostly by Hip Hops golden age when music was real and about self expression and not vanity and ignorance. I must admit I am conflicted and my music presents the struggles I face daily. I vent thru my music rather than become impulsive and make another mistake to set me back. Hip Hop is in the blood and I feel the responsibility to keep it real and give wisdom from lessons learned rather than spread total ignorance. Being a Pisces I am emotional and complex which is portrayed in my music!!!
