Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Jersey Community High School band (1969-1973), Jersey County Municipal Band (1973-1976), University of Illinois Bands (1973-1978), Arranger and woodwind player for pit band of "My Fair Lady" production in Sao Paulo, Brazil (1987) Crossroads Presbyterian Church Music Team (1997-now). solo coffee house gigs since about 2002-ish.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes. I play nearly every week at church. I also play at small coffee house venues to unsuspecting audiences.
Your musical influences
Influences range from classical to the likes of Harry Chapin, John Denver, Gordon Lightfoot, David Barrett, Scott Wyatt, Tom Kimmel, Michael Peter Smith, John D. Lamb, Chicago, BS&T, ELP, Morton Subotnik, David Roth, etc., etc. However any resemblance to any of those would be purely coincidental. My music is best described as "Quirklectic" - a combination of quirky and eclectic
What equipment do you use?
Guitars, woodwinds, QY100, presonus firebox, laptop, vocal chords, whatever is handy that makes cool sounds.
