Ahb Irato
Ahb Irato is a clan of irate people who live in the woods. They come from southern Ohio, and they play scum folk; scum rock on medieval-era acoustic instruments.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
One day in 2006, we got drunk as usual. The idea came up to take medieval-style pipe and drum music and throw horrible GG Allin-type punk lyrics over top of it. And Scum Folk was born.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We play for the denizens on the woods, scum folk like ourselves who live in tents or campers. Every once in a while we venture into society...
Your musical influences
Our influences are scum rock bands (GG Allin, Antiseen, Hellstomper, The Mentors, The Meatmen) and neo-medieval bands (Corvus Corax, Albanach)
What equipment do you use?
A recorder found in an evicted house, a bass drum found in an evicted house, and a hand drum a hippy gave Beef because he "put all his bad energy into it". Fucking hippies
