Adam Poe Wilson
I got started early in middle school playing in the school's band. Later on, I started piano lessons and started writing music soon after.
Born with a mild form of Cerebral Palsy (CP), way back in 1985, era of all things hair metal, the doctors never expected me to live, and if I *did*, they expected me to be nothing more than a vegetable. By the Grace of God I'm still kicking. This is my second foray into trying to get a career going, so I'm not kicking too high.... yet. :)
Here's to (metaphorically) banging on more doors, breaking out windows & knocking down walls.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
not much of a history yet.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I would play live, but from what I've seen, there's not much of an easy listening scene in East TN.
Your musical influences
Bon Jovi, David Bryan, Richie Sambora, Tico Torres, David Nevue, Jim Brickman, Bach, Beethoven, Brahm's, and too many others to list.
What equipment do you use?
Yamaha P-85 digital piano, CAD condensor mic (forgotten model #), M-Audio Mobile Pre preamp/interface.
Anything else?
I used to use a Yamaha S08 before thieves stole it... was in the middle of recording my original album, "Memories of You". I really miss my organ/string sounds, along w/ tons of others. Tried to replace those w/ a Yamaha PSR-S700... worst mistake ever. If any of my music were to actually sell, first thing I'll be getting is a Yamaha Motif XF 6 & Peavey KB2 amp. Thank God for MIDI.... a whole host of pianos available through a Motif, and ability to control them via the P85.
