Thabang Happy Mohapi, professionally known as Ace-Trick, was raised in Ivory Park North 3, Midrand, 1685, South Africa. He developed an early passion for hip-hop, drawing inspiration from Nas, Kendrick Lamar, JID, KXng Crooked, J. Cole, Young Thug, Priddy Ugly & A-Reece. During his school years, he began writing lyrics and freestyling at local rap battles, gaining recognition in his community.
Career
Beginnings & Breakthrough:
Ace-Trick officially launched his music career in [October 2021], releasing his first song Homicidal Art on Soundcloud.
He co-founded Opti-Pad, an art and entertainment platform aimed at Opti-Pad is dedicated to empowering independent artists, musicians, and creatives by providing a collaborative space where they can showcase their work, gain exposure, and connect with industry professionals.
The platform fosters innovation, inclusivity, and artistic growth, ensuring that underrepresented voices in the entertainment industry receive the recognition they deserve.
