A-Million (Ceo, Artist, Producer, Club/Mixtape Dj, Marketer, Promoter, and Distributor) aka (A-Millz , Dj Amillz) was Born in Montegobay, Jamaica, where he spent most of his child hood years. While living in Jamaica, his parents invested in him and put him into a music school at the age of 5. He learned how to play the Guitar, Flute, and the Piano. He later on migrated to the United States at the age of 7. Despite the fact that he came from a culture that was influenced by reggae music. He fell in love with Hip Hop at the age of 12. While Attending school, he was influenced to join the school band, he was assigned to the snare drum not having any experience at all. He practiced and practiced and no matter how hard he tried he couldn't understand the music notes. He managed to make it through Because he could play by ear which was a good thing. He was so good that he was on the front line as a snare drummer. He played in many concerts, parades, and church throughout is life as a musician. A-Million is a very determined individual. His favorite saying is " No one can teach better than you teach yourself ". When A-Million entered High School. He picked up a music class where is music teacher taught him about the music business and all the things he needed to know about it. He also introduced him to music production. A-Million was so interested that he went out and bought a drum machine. This was new and difficult for him knowing he was so use to playing the actual drums. Before he learned how to make beats he built his first studio with the help of his father and started recording and mixing for local rap artist's. As his passion for music began to build he started a label called Backdown Ent (Where it all Began). A-Million could also kick a few bars but he wasn't serious about it like the rest. Like they say practice make perfect, and that he did do and mastered his craft. When A-Million entered College he was a full time music producer while studing Law. He stayed in his dorm most of the time making beats try to master his craft. He later on became a DJ for his college " Livingstone College" and other local clubs, which is located in Salisbury North Carolina along with his friend Dj Ill Will which was from Nashville Tennessee. After a year of college and experiencing financial difficulties. He returned to New York.When he came back he met up with Hollie S from M.D.T who he was networking with while attending college. Hollie S brought A-Million to the studio and introduced him to Scram Jones, Pharell Artist Venom and some of he M.D.T fam. While at the studio he played some of his production that he was working on while attending college. Everyone respected his work and From there he was motivated to grind harder. After that he met up with J Sharon from Warner Music Group,.who gave him good Insite's on the music business and what he should do to set himself up so he can see money in the long run. After gaining all the knowledge that he could received from different individuals he start his own Company called A.S.M.G which is a Production Company/Music Group. In 2006 A-Million was recruited by Luci Brazi (Ceo of Taliban/Dipset) . A-Million is one of the most talented producers to enter the game. He plays a major role in the Taliban Camp. He is a Song Writer, Beat Maker, and a Club Dj. He not only produces, but he make sure the business side of things are on point with fellow label mate Star Crimes. A-Million has proven himself to his label mates that he can make things happen just by pulling a few strings. Alot of people don't know but A-Million is also the Famous A-Millz aka Dj A-Millz Founder of Lite Feet Music which is popular among the Harlem & Bronx Teens. He his also known for his hit single "Get Saucy" Feat his Artist Danielle. Which was also written and composed by A-Million. As you can see he wears many hats "Industry Term" in the music Industry. Ending with words from A-Million. " If you have an idea , no matter how silly others might think it is keep doing it. bc as you can see i let other discourage me and look how big Lite Feet has become. when i started it everyone laughed and clowned me about it and look now.
