Band/artist history

A2dak , 1 half of the group Ruffside has been putting down tracks for 13 years in the Louisville, KY/ southern Indiana area. Starting as a 17 year old , he produced his first album. 812 falcuty's "MWMN Compilation". Over the next few years he produced 2 more albums for 812, 1996's "The Quarter" and 1997's "No Love". Besides the 3 albums under his belt by the time he was 19 he had amassed an astounding 100 song catelouge with 812, that he left every bit of to pursue his own goals when the situation didnt go right. So late in 1997 A2daK and longtime friend Mr. Blacc Diamond started laying tracks for what would be known as "The Everyday Shit Compilation". With 22 songs it was the first double length rap album released in the Louisville area, and was produced soley by A2daK. Featuring Ruffside Playaz, Str8-Laced, Mr. Blacc Diamond, Bukshot, Trump Tight Mafia Click, The C.A.U.S., T-Bone, East Point Soldiers and the late E.P. It was a local sucsess and even landed the independent label headed by himself and Bake a distribution deal through Camelot records. Shortly after Camelot music went under, and AK and Bake were again looking for an avenue to distibute their music. Over the next 2 years they survived legal troubles other issues to record "Never Knock Da Hustle" The E.P. and went on to a record a full length album by the same name. A2dak and Bake began working on several other projects during this time including "South I Heat" a group album with Ruffside and solo album that was never released titled "The Story of My Soul", and did the majority of production on Bukshot's "1 More 4 The Haterz". A2daK has went on to produce Ruffside's "Still Hungry vol. 1", "Still Hungry vol. 2", the majority of production on "Interstate Traffikin...the Compilation, "All I See is Green" the E.P., the majority of production on Playa Patnaz "Down & Derby" including their local smash "Imma Pimp", and has a new full lenth album ready for late 08 early 09 with Bake as Ruffside that is all finished but is yet titled. A2daK has worked or done shows with several artists such as Haystak, Master-P, Cash Money Records, Too Short, Scarface and the Geto Boys, Young Buck, and others. With a resume' 12 years long and growing , and countless local smashes under his belt, its about time for you to stand up and take notice A2daK is headed to the top wit a bullet, an AK bullet.
