What is a stem / trackout file?
A Stem file is an audio file that contains a track split into several musical elements: A drums stem, a bassline stem, a harmony stem, and a lead stem for example.
The Stem file also usually includes the original stereo master of the track for standard playback.

Why would I need a stem / trackout file?
A trackout file gives you much better control. Imagine you rap over a beat and you realize the percussions take the focus away from your vocals. With a trackout file
you can simply tone down the percussion and the focus is now on the vocals. With a trackout file you have much more flexibility and a whole different level of control.

College on a Full-Ride scholar for basketball, music was always his first love. The Macomb,IL native formally
known as A1 Custom Beats was born Pete Anders on June 29 1978. Music has been in this young mans life
since a toddler. It all started at church playing the drums, then his uncle taught him the basics on the keyboard.
A1 Custom Beats has been playing live music for over 30 years, and producing music for 5 years. He was
mentored by "Big Homie" Kevin Barnes who taught A1 Custom Beats how to format music for Tv/Film,
how to build a solid foundation online for long term success, and much more. Inspired by the likes of Beats By The Pound, Dr. Dre, and
Zaytoven, A1 Custom Beats was driven to showcase his talent.
A1 Custom Beats released his 1st bundle "Real Bangers" in 2017, and opened up a beat site "a1custombeats.com".
In the midst of working on his projects, up in-coming artist, and producer. A1 Custom Beats still actively plays
drums and keyboard at his church as well. His goal is to make music that moves people in a positive way, and
to inspire and help other Artist and Producers take their music to the next level.
