Steve Veikley earned a BA in Music Education from the University of Northern Colorado at Greeley, and arranging/composition diploma from the Berklee College of Music in Boston. He has been in US Army bands, played and sang with the GLENN MILLER ORCHESTRA led by Buddy Morrow, and worked for bassist Jack Six in the Claridge Hotel Orchestra in Atlantic City. Steve has taught in several private schools and has formed and led his own groups for many years. He currently leads the Java Jive Jazz band in Minot, ND.
