F.a.m.e Entertainment's breakthrough artist Qui is as familiar with struggle and adversity as he is with the streets of his native Queens. In fact, the borough often serves as a character in his vivid stories full of both determination and domination. Qui says Queens has taught him priceless lessons about life, and though he does not believe that a magical "formula" for success exist, he instead Believes that music listeners just want to relate and listeners will definitely appreciate the honest, genuine stories he is delivering. When Qui enters the booth, he attacks the mic with a confident, raw hunger that is rarely heard and rapper's dream about. Music has always maintained a place in Qui's life. Since a young child, Qui's home was often filled with the voices of his parents who often sang and recorded there. Unfortunately, when his father's dream of stardom failed, unconsciously Qui's were just beginning. However, there were times in Qui's life where he had to place music towards the back to focus on other things. When the devastating deaths of some his closest family member's and friends seemed to be happening near the same time music was no longer his first priority. . However, music never left his mind. Though some of his hard times are now distant memories, the pain that he encountered during those periods can still be heard in his voice. After forming some unsuccessful partnerships with other musicians, Qui finally collaborated with long time friend Edmund Blanding and F.a.m.e Ent. was born. Since then both men's, lives have changed and have not been the same and they look forward to do the same for the industry
