Steve began his professional musical career at age 14, touring out of state as a lead guitarist, with The Young Gents. At age 19, he began touring with legendary R&B singer Ronnie Dyson. His first recording took place at age 16 in the home of jazz great, George Benson. Steven knew that playing jazz was his future and immediately landed a gig as assistant musical director for the European leg of the Broadway show, "Hair". While playing in Atlantic City casinos with various bands of notoriety, Steven was keeping busy playing every major venue in the U.S from Carnegie-Hall to Madison Square Garden, as well as appearances at the Grammys, Good Morning America, American Music Awards, etc. He also endorsed guitars for world-renown Kramer, DiDomenico, Casio, Yamaha guitars, to name a few. Steven also toured with Stephanie Mills, and played regular gigs with Whitney Houston. As a Writer/Composer/Vocalist/Musician, Steven has begun a new journey: Starting his virtual record label & signing powerhouse singers for future release and releasing his first CD: The Collective Works Of Steven Kelly.
