I am a mother of five children, married to the love of my life for 22 years now. I started singing with my dad when I was 13 years old in a Southern Gospel Quartet, we called, "The LakeMasters." We traveled all over the southern part of the state singing in churches and other events.
Singing has always been a huge part of my life. As a child, I watched my dad sing and I went to all-night gospel sings and numerous church events. I was raised listening to "The Cathedrals", "Gold City", "The Greenes", "The Hoppers", "The Dixie Echos", "Bill Gaither", and many more.
My father passed away at the tender age of 55, when I was only 23. I was heart-broken as he was my heart and I was Daddy's Little Girl. Since then, it has been difficult for me to sing as I could hardly open my mouth without crying, but I now know that he is with me, not in physical form, but his spirit is with me everyday.
