The name is Lord Abstract, not abstract rude and not the abstract poetic. Lord Abstract - I have been freestyling, writing poetry, and pretty much have been involved in every aspect of all the elements of Hip Hop since the age of 14. At 28 years old, I have harnessed skills that as of recently I have begun to wield as of recently. A 9 year veteran of the armed forces, with a combined total of 3 1/2 years out in the middle east in direct support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. The context of my lyrics should not be misunderstood, I consider myself someone who is "awake" therefore conscious of what I say and do, and the ramifications and effects my words can have on others. Therefore, I only compose concepts and speak on things that many with open eyes would understand. I am anti-establishment, and very much against the current order of things. Many so called revolutionary rappers and artists of such will speak on the lives of soldiers as if they have been there, or know anything for that matter. The difference between them and myself is....I HAVE BEEN THERE. and therefore, coupled with my verbal extentions and experiences, I plan on making conscious hip hop music to entertain those who are awake, and enlighten those who are not. I dont represent any particular coast, side, street, hood, or anything like that. I am who I am wherever I stand. I grew up in California, and was unique from my peers from the jump. And been so ever since.
