Formed in Gdañsk(Danzig) in late 2006. The name, which alludes to the concentric ripples on the water’s surface after a stone is dropped, does well to reference the reverberation of the rock group’s progressive tendencies, but Krêgi is more about the plunge and its powerful swell than the wake left behind it. This is a heavy fist of hard rock which manages to hold that moment when the cannonball hits the gut, driving it deeper while simultaneously inducing the weightlessness of its propulsion. After gigging around the Tricity and Pomerania 2008 saw the addition of Pawe³ "Pery" Perwejnis on bass and currently, in cooperation with Wojtek Noskowiak, Krêgi is furiously recording their first album.
