J-Juce has been on the scene since 1999 performing & appearing on various mixtapes and CD’s as a guest artist. Kode Red Records as first introduced him to the game as a former member of the group Geto Starz. In 2000 the group had begun to make noise in Texas and Arkansas and received a P&D deal by the former distributor Southwest Wholesale of Houston, TX. Because of poor management from the owners the group broke up and the deal went sour. Soon after, J-Juce raised enough money to start his own label UndaGround Railroad ENT. which he stills own to this day. He released his first solo album in 2002 titled “Cadillac Swangen”, produced entirely by producer Ray Ray which featured artist such as Lil KeKe, Swisha House, his own group which was then known as Dirty Southernuz and an underground smash hit with Nino of P.K.O. & Big Pokey. J-Juce also appeared on T-Town Music’s compilation “North 2 Da South” that featured artist such as Lil Flip, Paul Wall, Chamillionaire, UGK & more, with the hit “Hold Up” featuring Big Pokey that put his name up in the game and opened a few doors in other places.
