A soulful R&B/HipHop singer from Texas, this southern crooner is a force to be reckoned with! Coming from a family who is fluent in sports & music, J. Izir's creative flow is something to be heard & seen by all. He was born April 5, 1984 in Galveston, TX to Harlan V. Robertson, Sr. & Troshia L. Marks. Growing up in Orange & Port Arthur, TX, Izir regularly sung in the choir every sunday. He joined the high school during his sophomore & junior years reaching state both years all while being a leader in the bass/treble mens part of the choir. J. Izir didn't start doing music on a regular basis until June of 2005. Even while feeling under the weather for most of the recording sessions, he still put out an incredibly powerful sound of music, singing all vocals & writing all lyrics! J.
