Piano afficionado with eclectic tastes in music. Amateur pianist, and woodwind instrumentalist (clarinets, sax, oboe). Fan of mainstream classical piano works, reggae, 10- and 12- string (classical) guitar. My favorite piano is Steinway "B" (about one in ten is regulated and tuned just right). Some of the "C" models are nice, but most of them get way too moody for me to manage. Talk about moody, my home grand piano was an exceptionally gloomy 2.8m Petrov Grand - built in 1991 with real Renner action, but like a Soviet tank and twice as stubborn as any Russian bear. My favorite piano in the world is the insanely beautiful and god-like Imperial Bösendorfer at the Kawaiaha‘o Church in Honolulu, the harmonics of each note put me into a coma of divine ecstasy. (of course, any thought about trying to tune or regulate the thing also puts me into a coma)
