I was born and grew up in a small village called Harle Syke in Lancashire. Stayed in Lancashire until 1992 when we moved to Skelmorlie on the west coast of Scotland. Stayed there for eight years before moving to Rocky Face in North Georgia.
I have played guitar since 1969 when my dad built an acoustic guitar, taught himself three chords which he then passed on to me and I never stopped after that. Still learning today...
Went to Edge End High School in Nelson and then on to Burnley College where I did Art and Graphics for two years. Then I started a three year apprenticeship as a Trainee Designer with Donaghadee Carpets. I have been a designer ever since as my day job but always played music in my spare time.

Hi there, Ok, I've been playing all types of music for the last 40 years and so I've ended up with an odd-ball style. Once I get more confident with the recording process, (I am slow at techy stuff), I will spend more time on the playing and singing, that is less mistakes and bum notes, hopefully.
