I've been playing guitar for over 35 years and writing music for more than 25 years. I studied classical guitar at IU though you'd never guess this from the kind of music I've posted here. All the parts and instruments were written and performed by me in my personal studio.
I grew up in a musical family. My grandmother was a professional church organist and music teacher for more than 50 years. My mother plays the piano and my father plays the trumpet, the guitar and the banjo. My older brother plays piano and guitar.
Your influences?
There was a wide range of music listened to in our house - everything from classical to show tunes to bluegrass to jazz to rock to punk and so on.... I listen to anything that turns me on but some of my favorites through the years have been Pink Floyd, Pat Metheny, The Replacements, Rush, Black Sabbath, The Eagles, Grateful Dead, Klaatu, Billy Joel, Jackson Brown and the Doobie Brothers.
