Born David Higgins on May 25, 1991 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Chew has been listening to hip-hop since about 6-7 years old and now at 18 years old, he is here to represent Las Vegas in the rap game.
After only a year of taking this music industry into perspective and looking at it from all angles, I have decided that IT IS for me and I am preparing to release my first mixtape "CHEWS TURN". I have encounterted plenty of people whether it be on myspace or in the streets saying that '08 was their year, they had it and now its CHEWS TURN.
I got the name CHEW cuz I'm always hungry, whether it be for money, power or even food. A lot of people kno me for any of those 3 reasons, they kno that I strive to be the best and someday I will be the best. There are a select few people in Las Vegas that kno the whole music industry including the lyrical part and then the business side, I am one of those select few, then theres the other "rappers" in Vegas that dont have any clue, they just see the lyrical side and think its all fun and games, so they keep writing, thats cool, eventually they will figure out that they are clueless. Music for me isn't a hobby, it's my life, Most people write verses or hooks whenever they have a chance, I always write, whether it be on paper or on my sidekick. For those of you other rappers that kno what im talking about and your as serious as I am then holla at ya boi chew, cuz from the very get go I was on my grind and every day I grind even harder, after only a year of being serious about the music, I have accomplished over 12k views and 8300 plays and counting, these youngsters in the game don't have any idea of what accomplish means so just give up cuz ya boi chew iz on a come up. On another note I'm grinding so hard I'm working on my second mixtape "ON THA LOOSE" and I have an idea for an edited greatest hits album called "RADIO SHOW" already even tho I havent released "CHEWS TURN" yet, so I want everybody be on tha lookout and kno that my dedication is just at the starting line still, even tho I already won the race. I am the CEO of my own record label Cinfully Tru Ent and it is official, I put my all into my music and I'm getting it all back and then some. HOLLA AT YA BOI CHEW
