Born & Raised in Chicago,IL. on December 20, 1975. Raimundo"BRO. PRAY" Sumner was a drama child. Selling drugs, in & out of jail & mental hospitals(when his cousin & anutie was shot in the head on christmas eve), and playing a part in organized crimes. He's been on a local Chicago radio station:96.9 & Union City,TN. :105.7 & have sold several projects from 1996-2009 "A lyrikal Nightmare 2009" " W.A.R 2007" being two of them. He found CHRIST when he was 21 and was born again in 2005. The talented up & coming artist/producer/writer/sound engineer uses his gifts to glorify JESUS. Pastors’ Michael Pryor, James L. Hudson, and Ronnie Coneal have said, “Bro. Pray’s songs are inspiring, motivational, and can reach people that most pastors can’t reach from the pulpit.
Bro. Pray released a CD/digital project “My Walk In CHRIST vol.1” in the summer of 2010 and is currently working on two projects. His goals are bringing lost souls to CHRIST, attending college to sharpen production/sound engineer skills, and working for a Christian/Gospel music company.
Raimundo “ Bro. Pray” Sumner has performed at Ninth Street Tabernacles, House of Hope, and Harrison Street Missionary Baptist Church. He has appeared on Kennedy~king College’s radio station WKKC-FM and was apart of the Martin Luther King Peace Coalition. Bro. Pray was a Sunday school teacher at Ninth Street Tabernacle & has preached at the River City Mission.
