A California native who was raised on the central coast in Monterey, Xander now works in L.A. as a professional singer/songwriter & actor. He also has his own recording studio, XM Records, located in NoHo. There, he is able to write and produce his original music (as well as music that has been licensed in Commercials, TV & Film projects worldwide) with his production partner, Morgan Taylor Reid. Recently his song "So Far So Long" was featured in an episode of Ghost Whisperer on CBS & Castle on ABC. They also write and produce songs for other artists.
Alexander is building a sizable following on the internet via Myspace, Facebook, Youtube, Twitter and iTunes etc. His Facebook "Fan Page" averages 200 NEW fans per day since he began the page two months ago. Now exceeding 15,000 fans on FB and over 30,000 fans between all his social sites, the word really seems to be spreading by electronic grass roots about his music. Because of this, and also because his live shows have really begun to connect with audiences on a personal level, Alexander began his own record label this year... XM Records™
He's been a finalist in the competitions: Acoustic Live, Amercian Idol underground, The UK Songwriting Contest and the prestigious International Songwriting Competition (ISC).
Today, he continues to perform live around L.A. (regularly at Hotel Cafe) and across the country, establishing his position as an emotionally revealing and talented new artist.
