. The most idiosyncratic personality in this underground rap and possessor of its most recognizable delivery recording in a studio, as well as on stage presents, Bay Area Realness-inspired style with incredible complexity, inventiveness, and humor, ALBZY also known as Alesana L. Ripley was born out of Oakland,Ca in the early 80's. Raised by a single mother,with 4 siblings in the city of Hayward,Ca. So life growing up was hard.ALBZY grew up on the South Side of Hayward. At an early age MUSIC became his escape from the violence and drugs that surrounded him. He started writing music and recording in his early teens.But Music wouldn't keep him away from the streets for long. He got introduced into the life of hustle'n and gang life by his older uncles and cousins. Money was fast and power was the life of the streets. Quoting one of his lyrics off the track { HUSTLEN MUSIC} " See I was raised in the Streets/Where fast money was easy money/ but steady duckin police..." The easy life wouldn't last for long. After High School ALBZY relocated to LONG BEACH,Ca to change up the life style, just to find himself right back where he started. Where ever he went street life followed.Music never left his side. He started to collaborate with some USO'S up SOUTH such as Ty Dawg from the group STREET SCHOLARS, and OMPS from CARSON,Ca. ALBZY stayed consistent with writing and recording music. A couple of years later he relocated back to the BAY AREA, to proceed his interest in MUSIC. R
