I was born in the southern islands of the Philippines and moved to the states when I was only 8 years old.
In middle school I was in love with art class and I played the violin and joined the orchestra. In high school, I stayed in advanced art class, joined theater arts and continued to be in school plays. By the end of my senior year, I joined NJROTC and after I graduated, I joined the U.S. Navy. I learned discipline and I traveled the world. If I were able to turn back time I would not change any of my experiences for anything.
In time, I led myself to a new kind of experience. Love. Marriage. Children. I had my ups and downs. I had my share of bad credit, traffic tickets, and probation. I was miserable once. I had a broken heart and the ending of my marriage. At that time I wanted to go back in time to change it. I thought about it for a while and then one day I pushed forward. That day was when I found myself. I knew who I really am and that I had done well from the start, so why can't I keep going? I never gave up. I kept going. Here I am. Stable, divorced, in a new relationship for three years, starting over.
