Tad Winklarz
Tad Winklarz is a Polish-Canadian musician, composer, songwriter, and educator known for his work across classical, rock, jazz, blues, pop, and film scoring genres. With a career spanning decades, he has performed internationally, contributed to a gold record-selling band, and created original scores for media.

Born and raised in Poland, Winklarz received formal classical training at the Conservatory of Music in Gdańsk.

Later, he served as an accompanist, vocal coach, and performer at the Gdańsk National Theater, honing his skills in composition and performance.
Rock Band Era (1980s1990s): In 1981, Winklarz immigrated to Canada and joined the alternative rock band Chalk Circle as a songwriter, keyboardist, and saxophonist.
The band toured extensively, opening for major acts like Rush, Tears for Fears, and Crowded House.
Post-Chalk Circle, Winklarz transitioned into film and television scoring. He has composed original scores for feature films, documentaries, and TV projects. His style blends classical roots with contemporary elements, evident in his acoustic piano and film score compositions. He has over 150 songs available online, including notable tracks like "The Final Prayer," "The Last Waltz," and "Good Wins," which have amassed hundreds of thousands of plays. His music often explores themes of tranquility, emotion, and spirituality, as seen in pieces like "May All Beings Be Happy."
