Trained in Nollywood, Lagos, a then active member of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, she excels in the movie world as a Screenwriter/Actress. She lived in Nigeria for some years before moving to Germany, but currently residing in Italy. Shirley speaks English, French, Italian and basic German. She holds a Degree in English (Major) Performing/Visual Arts (Minor). For the past years, she was profiled in the popular youth magazine, 'Amongst Youth' in three editions consecutively.Many have crowned Shirley as the "First Lady" of Kumba urban music & she remained one of the most visible influential female artist in the vicinity before decidedly shoned public attention into a more private life in 2013.
