I've been writing poetry since I was really little. However, I didn't begin rapping until I was around the age of fifteen. No matter, it has become the highlight of my life. It has helped me so much to be able to express myself through music. It literally helps me get through some of the toughest situations. And it makes me feel better knowing that someone out there is going through the same thing, and I want people to be able to relate to me. My name is Nick, although my stage name is "Balla' B." I was born in Buffalo, NY but soon after moved to Jamestown where I now live at the age of eighteen. I'm not from the worst neighborhood out there, but it isn't the greatest either. And out here, I have still experienced a lot. And a great deal of my material is stuff that a lot of people my age go through no matter what neighborhood they're from, rich or poor. It just feels great to have an influence on the people around me. And because of this, my music has transitioned from a hobby, to being a part of who I am.
