Pulsating 808’s, ticking hi-hats, spell-binding backdrops and lyrics that can be written on the concrete streets in every chocolate city of America. If read out of context, it can be mistaken for a forbidden recipe in urban witchcraft, but it vaguely describes Amerikkka’s new most wanted. The LoudPackMAFIA. By way of Miami, Florida founding members Prince Infamy and Farroll sonically bridge a gap between the sound that was abandoned by the ninety’s with the sound we find familiar of today. Songs such as “Different Day”, “Pick Your Poison”, and the take no prisoners revolutionary anthem “Hold On” all support that description.Farroll provides the hypnotic element of his mystic interpretation of rhythm and blues infused with the menacing vibrations of the drum patterns provided by The Prince. Acknowledging each other’s strengths, weaknesses, and sometimes contradictions, a balance is created for listeners to view many of life’s situations discussed in their lyrics from both points of view. Street knowledge or street poetry are not strong enough terms to be used for their unapologetic music, but rather than labeling it, JUST LISTEN. This generation is getting restless and a hip-hop revolution has just begun. Looking to be ahead of that rebellious front is the LoudPackMAFIA with their army behind chanting every THC enhanced chorus.
