J’Da Prynce -The Entertainment Tailor was born in Newark, New Jersey and brought up in the south, South Carolina and North Carolina. Adding to his magnetic charm, the singing and songwriting sensation is an English graduate from South Carolina State University, and he dedicated 9 years of his life to teaching English, Social Studies and working with students with Autism in grades 6-12.
But as the great Napolean Bonaparte once said, “There are two levers for moving men: interest and fear” for J’Da Prynce it was decisively his interest that made music his destiny. He discovered a deep passion for singing at the age of 6 and writing songs came naturally to him by age 13. Soon after, his passion for music burst into flames and he began performing with many popular bands like The SolcetFre Project, and Soul Brothers Band, The Ultimate James Brown Tribute Band: both of Greensboro, NC. Upon his relocation to Atlanta, he joined Az-Izz, a high-in-demand south-eastern based Corporate Party band based in Atlanta, Ga.
J’da Prynce treats the world as his stage as he has performed in many U.S. states including North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Louisiana, Mississippi, Minnesota, New York, Virginia, and California. Additionally, J’Da’s talent and love for entertainment has taken him to such international destinations as Singapore, Hong Kong, Shenzhen, China, Abu Dhabi, U.A.E, and Seoul, South Korea. Most recently, J’Da Prynce left audiences in Bangkok gasping for more as he nightly “Heat” up (the band for which he is currently lead singer, choreographer and emcee) the stage at Spasso Club, which was newly voted best Live Entertainment Venue in Bangkok, by Bangkok’s Best Dining Magazine.
J’Da entertains people with his captivating personality and hypnotic performances. For J’da Prynce life is music and music is life. As he comes alive with music, he also helps others to unleash & unburden themselves with his ear-gasmic and soul-stirring melodies.
“I love to entertain. I live for it. I want to inspire others to enjoy life; to live, laugh, and love! This is what I aspire to do through music edutainment,” Says J’ Da Prynce to Royal junior J’Da Prynces & J’Da Pryncesses; the names by which he affectionately addresses his fans.
Currently, J’Da Prynce is unleashing his tailored brand of entertainment on the audience of Beijing, China with jaw-dropping, ear knocking and body rocking performances nightly at XIU Bar (pronounced Shoe Bar). The budding STAR is chart-topping among the masses, and is especially popular with the grown-up, sexy and classy crowd; ages 25 to 45 and the LGBT community!
J’Da Prynce draws his inspiration from legendary artists like James Brown, Micheal Jackson and Sam Cooke and from contemporary powerhouses like Janelle Monae, Rihanna, Bruno Mars, Prince and John Legend.
