I am 58 and semi-retired. I am the Commissioner of U19 soccer for Region 66. I am also an assistant manager at the Cruisin Classic Tournament which may be the largest on the west coast at 124 teams this year.
I gave been playing music since the fourth grade. My grandparents were music teacher at Cass Tech. I was raised in the classical tradition and can read music. I was playing jazz clarinet as recently as the mid-nineties at a jazz house in Pomona with some serious players. I grew up with the Beatles and Stones and Led Zeppelin and all of the rock of the 70's. I have since left all that behind and write all of my own material.
Tucker/Skynard 1972 was my first concert. I have come to the realization that my music needs to be age appropriate, I am not a kid anymore and the fans of the music I grew up with are equally aged and fewer. In addition I can't even bear to listen to classic rock station because the songs have been now played
ad nauseum.
