DiCipher (born January 22, 1990) was raised in Waterbury, CT. He began writing music/freestyling at the age of 13 with his cousin(J.Ville). After writing his first song, DiCipher decided to take his music more serious and progress with it at the age of 14. After graduating high school and on the verge of attention college (Central Connecticut State University), DiCipher felt it was necessary to change his current rap name (Snicka) if he wanted to be taken serious as an artist, therefore becoming DiCipher. Changing his name to DiCipher forced him to start back to square one. He had to re-create a new name for himself and gain a buzz within the college campus. After a year in school he began making a name for himself, doing everything from talent shows, open mic's, rap cyphers and performing live on the campus radio station. DiCipher is now 20 years old and has just released his first solo project entitled "The Rough Draft". With his mixtape out, DiCipher hopes to be recognized as a talented artist and spread his name across Connecticut. He hopes step foot into the music industry to pursue his dreams as a hip hop recording artist.
