I have been a guitar player literally all my life, born with a guitar in my hand. I have been in many bands in my many years of playing guitar. I am trained in classical. jazz , funk, rock ,& also the blues! My music usually combines these genres , so some sounds jazzy , some blues, some funky, some like the one posted comes out more like New Age! You get the idea. I also have put together many different bands in the past twenty years some of which include the Dan Merchant Band, as well as Fistfullabluz, and also my new band Streetbeat! I graduated from the Guitar institute of technology in the late eighties. I studied with the likes of Richard Smith, Norman Brown, Scott Henderson, and many others. I have been in many bands since being here in Orlando. I have two going on three cds made. the new one is coming out very soon. I have many plans of performing both solo and with my new smooth jazz band Streetbeat. thanks

Dan, Listened to 'Can U"...A wonderful guitar driven track with so much great harmonic delights and musical elements. Really nice string work...top shelf mix+production values...Really enjoyed listening to this cool song.

Streetbeat is coming along nicely!! We will have gigs in the new year!!
also , I feel like my new cd will have a great style and finesse to it!! I am putting the finishing touches on it!!

I will have my new cd up and running this upcoming year , most likely in January! I will have songs from that cd posted for download very soon. I also before that cd comes out will post my jazz cd for download!
