Cane Carter was born April 15, 1983, raised in a small town (Edgewater, AL) & grew up in Wylam, AL.. Cane started doing music @ the early age of 8 yrs. old, writing, singing & rapping her own lyrics. In 1993, she and her cousins formed a group and started performing at local churches. In 1995, Cane moved on to form a duo with her childhood friend called "2 Unique" where they started recording and performed at local Birmingham clubs. Then got there first single played on 95.7 jamz called "We run the show". In that same year, Cane started producing her own music and after receiving great feedback from family, friends, and fans,Cane knew that this was her goal to achieve. Cane knew that she had more to offer to the music industry and decided to go solo in 1998. Then is when she met Amen Tru, and became the first lady of Evil Eye Records. After being signed, she started working on her solo album, "Flying Solo" and also, started her own production company, Lady L Productionz which is now Beatz By Cane. In 2001, Cane hooked up with her former colleague Da Joka and begin to work on their first album together as Lady L and Da Joka. In 2005, Cane formed the group T2S formerly "Tripple Threat" which consisted of herself, Da Joka, and J-Freezy.Two years later Cane and Da Joka formed the duo, T2S which they finally finished and released their debut album Back 2 Da Basciz under their independent label Threat Muzik Ent. Cane Carter is currently a solo artist & CEO of TME.
