Just me finally getting round to doing something with all those buttons. Principally I play guitar and sing, but also mess around with percussion, keyboards, bass, and any other instument that seems like a good idea at the time ...
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Went to a Music biased secondary school in the UK, played loads of different instruments and sang in the choir. Been in various bands. Fast Forward 20 years and here I am ...
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
My loft, and anywhere that'll have me! My best memory is playing to about 20 people in a friends garden. Everything just clicked that day. My worst is playing to about 100 very drunk and overfed frenchies with a dutch guy and a french girl. We split after that gig.
Your musical influences
Talking Heads, Police, The Jam, Paul Weller, The Prodigy, The Clash, Muse, Beastie Boys, and most from Motzart to Floyd, but not, definately not, Dido.
What equipment do you use?
Fender Strat, Tanglewood Acoustic, Peavy Bass, Martin strings, Roland Juno 106 synth, cheap Casio keyboard, Senheiser mikes, Congas, Bongos, Scrapers, Shakers, Rattles, Claves, etc, BOSS BR-8 recording to Zip then to PC via Audigy for mastering with Cubase. Oh, and old tin cans or whatever is around!
