Seven Second Burn was formed in 2000 by Kev, Lee and Chunky who had no common musical background whatsoever. After falling out with several bass players, they settled on a local guitarist who volunteered (stupidly) to fill in. Jim has been with the band ever since.
This was 2002 and the vocalist at the time was an annoying take your hat off kind of guy who just begged to be sacked. Xmas 2002 began the third round of auditions for vocalists, where unusually the band found two singers instead of the usual toneless herd of corpse-eyed puppet people they encountered in rounds one and two. The decision was made to hire both, one as vocalist and one (Daisy) as keyboard player, which they didn't need but hey we're all greedy at times!
Within 10 months the vocalist left because he couldn't play keyboards and the natural progression left Daisy with the job he really wanted. The band now has a settled line-up of the above alcoholics, drug addicts and sexual deviants.
They are just putting the finishing touches to the album which will be recorded in early 2005 after an end of 2004 tour. So they look forward to seeing you on the road, or in the forum, or hearing you in any heavy breathing dirty phone calls.
