Hey what's up?
I go by "Philly Ruckus" formerly "5th Avenue". I am currently the V.P of BeatDat Records, I Promote for different Night Clubs in the D.C area, and I create beats but I myself am a perfomer ( I rap, sing, and write music). I live Between ATL, Philly, and Maryland. In ATL I sell beats, in Philly i'm an actor, and in Maryland I Run a production company. Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I've changed my stage name within the last year because it didn't jump at me the way I wanted it to. I was once called "Viz-on" prenounced (Vis-ion). I perfomed under that alias for 2 years. I have alot of music out in the U.S but all of it free to listeners so they can give me the feedback I can grow off.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Although I do play some instruments, I don't play live. The only time I perform live is if I am Rapping, Battling Or Singing.
Your musical influences
My musical influences are oldschool rap, symphonies, jazz, old R&B, and a few others like nintendo... Sega... etc. If I had to say people I would say Timberland, Dr.dre, Rza, Neptunes, eminem, Darkchild, and a few others.
What equipment do you use?
I make most of my beats on computer software such as fruityloops 3.56, impulse tracker, fasttracker, Hip-hop ejay 1 & 2. But if I want that Hard Hitting 30 minute made beat that can go platinum I just use a Keyboard- triton.
Anything else?
I do a bit of acting, play basketball, do a little chalk drawing on the art side, and love doing A&R work for serious Artist.
